Education and Qualifications:
Essential:
- HND in electrical, mechanical, or electronic engineering, or training or work that is equivalent
- Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or Training Program with Indenture that is Accredited
- Being able to do Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Motor Vehicle Craft Studies or something similar (BTEC)
- A valid driver’s license
Desirable:
- C1E or D1E driver’s license
- Work experience that is relevant, paid or unpaid
- Being able to figure out what’s wrong with cars, machines, electronics, and other technical problems
- Knowledge of how to use monitoring tools for cars and medical gear
- Knowing how to use high-tech fixing tools and gear
- Knowing how to take care of medical tools
- skills as a supervisor or manager in auto repair
- Being familiar with ISO 13485:2012 and ISO 9001:2000 quality control systems
- Experience working for the NHS or a rescue service
