Benefits:
1. Legal Work Authorization Through Sponsorship

2. Competitive Wages
- Bricklayers in Canada typically earn between CAD $25 and $40 per hour, depending on the province, experience, and union status.
- Overtime pay and holiday premiums may apply.
- Unionized environments often offer standardized wages and better job protections.
3. Permanent Residency Pathways
Bricklaying is a skilled trade classified under NOC 72320, making it eligible for several immigration pathways:
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (via Express Entry)
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)
- Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP)
- Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) for jobs in Atlantic Canada
Visa sponsorship can serve as a stepping stone to permanent residency and Canadian citizenship.

- Access to provincial healthcare coverage after eligibility periods.
- Most employers provide safety equipment, training, and workplace injury insurance (e.g., WSIB, WCB).
- Additional employer-sponsored health plans may cover dental, vision, and prescription needs.
5. Relocation Assistance
Many sponsoring employers help with:
- Airfare or travel reimbursement
- Temporary accommodation upon arrival
- Orientation and settlement support, including assistance with setting up banking, housing, and local services
6. Family Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsored bricklayers may be eligible to bring their family:
- Spouses can often apply for open work permits

This allows skilled tradespeople to settle in Canada with their families.
7. In-Demand Occupation Across Provinces
There is high demand for bricklayers in construction-heavy provinces such as:
- Alberta

- Saskatchewan
Many job offers include long-term contracts due to labor shortages in the trade sector.
8. Career Growth and Certification Support
