We are looking for a Software Team Lead to guide a talented engineering team and help shape impactful assistive technology products.
You will lead software engineers and QA specialists, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure our products deliver real value to users.
Responsibilities for Software Team Lead UK Job:
- Oversee and guide QA teams and software engineers.
- To increase efficiency and code quality, use AI-assisted tools like Claude Code or something similar.
- Utilise data and feedback to drive user-focused product development
- Work together on roadmaps with technical and product leadership.
- Create a high-performance, scalable software architecture
- Create tidy, tested C# (.NET 8) programs.
- Work with databases, backends, user interfaces, and integrations
- Enhance engineering procedures, standards, and practices
- Work together with stakeholders, electronics engineers, and UX designers.
- Encourage hiring and team-building initiatives
Essential Requirements for Software Team Lead:
- More than five years of experience developing software in C#, Java, or C++
- a track record of successfully managing Agile software teams
- strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum approaches
- Knowledge of utilising AI development technologies to increase productivity
- strong grasp of design principles and software architecture
- knowledge of automated testing, including system, integration, and unit tests
