Responsibilities for Staff Electronics Engineer Jobs in UK:

  • Oversee the design of intricate, multi-layer PCB systems and subsystems.
  • own approach to power and signal integrity in all designs
  • Create high-speed PCBs that handle SERDES connectivity (25–56 Gb/s+) and PCIe Gen4/Gen5.
  • Create effective power supply networks for FPGAs and ASICs.
  • During the schematic and layout phases, conduct SI/PI analysis.
  • Describe return path, routing, impedance control, and stack-ups.
  • Perform high-speed validation testing, debugging, and board bring-up.
  • Oversee design evaluations and provide engineering teams with guidance.
  • Assure manufacturability, dependability, and system-level performance
  • During the production transition, assist the EVT, DVT, and PVT stages.
  • Create thorough engineering documentation and validation reports.

Required Qualifications for Staff Electronics Engineer Jobs:

  • Electrical and electronic engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree or a similar discipline
  • More than ten years of expertise in hardware engineering
  • Experience creating sophisticated PCB systems with more than 12 layers
